Some thoughts on building a custom instruments:

In the guitar business, there will always be companies who only copy and take the easiest way to reach the customers. Well, they might do it well and survive, but only in the short term. The same thing goes for guitarists … there are already plenty of players and talents who can play all the famous tricks just like you and sometimes even better. BUT only few ones know how to use them in the right place!

When you are thinking about the details and specifications for your custom instrument, you do not have to add all the existing specials and extras, or copy the guitar of some rockstar.
The thing we want to stress here is that our policy is to make instruments which go together with the music and the image of the musician.

	Many companies offer plenty of different custom options in their custom quotes. But these options are standardized and limited. You just fill out the quote and try to get the guitar as cheap as possible. This is usually the way most companies work.
	We, however, prefer to discuss everything directly with the customer. Customizing is an art that is personal, kind of like tattooing. It should refer to YOUR own life and to things important to YOU. Actually, the best ideas and the spirit of the instrument emerge and take shape when speaking about normal, everyday life and not just about guitars.

Everybody can copy and make an instrument based on a common spec list. Everybody can buy beautiful and expensive special woods and glue them together. But going into the customer's head and finding his or her musical personality - that's the way to go!

All this can be realized with inlays, paintings, woodwork, carvings, colors, or with whatever else you might think of... And if you have trouble in figuring out the details all by yourself, don't worry, that's what we are here for. We know what works and what doesn't. We can put your personality into your guitar. We can make a guitar that fits your musical style and your image. That's the reason why close personal contact with the builder is the most important aspect in building your dream instrument.
