ROUTA SERIES
“Routa is a Finnish word and means ground frost”.

Back to the year 2002, when Finland’s first in metal specialized guitar company, Amfisound, was born. Nowadays also known as the pioneer of the Finnish metal guitar – and with good reason. Together with our customers, we started to design a new aggressive metal guitar for the most demanding players.

One of the most important things for us during the designing project was that the guitar wouldn’t be just another aggressive metal guitar, but a carefully designed and shaped guitar for today’s music that would allow the best acoustic response, balance and playability. After a couple of years, the first original Amfisound model was officially introduced. And this was just the beginning...

In 2008, we introduced new and updated Routa models with new features which set completely new standards for the “high end” metal guitar. The art of metal music has changed significantly and nowadays almost all players use low tunes. We have had the great opportunity to develop our guitars with real talents and professional metal artists, so our guitars are truly designed for YOU, not for big production, as is usually the case in the guitar market of today.

Routa presents the highest quality handcraft and art in its field and includes your sound and image. Each guitar is one-of-a-kind custom piece, individually handcrafted and completed with highest quality hardware from genuine manufacturers. This means that we do not use any of those “copy” products in this model!
Having searched and developed a better metal sound and playability over the years, we proudly offer you the best handmade V style metal guitar!!

The new Routa 2008 models are available in three basic versions (H / F / K).
The 7-stringed models are available with the same specifications than the 6-stringed models. The 8-stringed models will be updated later.
We also offer a new Routa W(wooden) series for you. All these masterpieces feature wooden image and thin satin lacquers to keep the warm wooden feeling. Each basic model is available as a W series.

BASIC MODELS
NOTE: The guitars in the pictures are one-of-a-kind pieces based on our basic models.

ROUTA LEFT

The left-handed series is available for each basic version of the Routa.
The left-handed 7-stringed series is only available as H (Hipshot hardtail) and K (Kahler) versions.

ROUTA W

W(wooden) series is available for each basic version of the Routa and features wooden image and natural satin lacquers.

ROUTA KELO

The KELO series is also available for each basic version of the Routa and features our Arctic Kelo finish and image. The Routa Kelo is available with hand-forged metal ornaments, pickup rings and cover plates.
You can also order your Routa Kelo with wooden cover plates, pickup rings, etc. In such guitars, the parts are made of wood, and they include the same Kelo finish than the actual guitar.

ROUTA KING

The Routa KING series with two identical “wings” is available for each basic version (H/F/K) of the Routa. This model also features ultimate playability, balance, and rich attack for the low tunes which we have developed for our guitars.
