KRISTIAN RANTA - NORTHER
We are always happy to welcome new and young enthusiastic blood into our player family...
something which we really respect at Amfisound!!!
Norther's lead guitarist Kristian "Kride" Ranta gave us the task to build a special axe for him based on our Routa KING-model. Of course, we decided to add some cool details and stunning inlays and bindings.
He wanted to have a simple black and white image. For the hardware we chose: Original Floyd Rose, Hipshot lightweight tuners, active EMG pickups...and, of course, the Neutrik locking jack and an original Amfisound "NON-SLIP" knob, the combination of which has become a "trademark" for our high-end metal axes.

The guitar features a special, carved 3D-shape on the top.
Drawing the 3D-plan directly onto the guitar to get a unique design.

 Kride's guitar has 24 Stainless Steel frets which make your fingers fly!
The last 6 frets are scalloped. |

About my new instrument:
My new Amfisound Routa KING custom is a magnificent guitar.
Its very easy to play with and the finishing is definitely the best I've
seen so far. When I was playing my solos during our last show I was thinking to
myself that I have never seen such a good guitar before, luckily I can now see it
every day.

NORTHER BIO:
Norther has been rocking the heavy metal world for some time now.
Northers first album "Dreams of Endless War" was released
through Spinefarm in 2002. After that Norther has released 4 more
albums, the latest one being "N". With "N" Norther started a relationship with Century Media Records.
All Norther CDs and singles have reached the official Finnish charts. the best
positions so far have been #1 on the single chart and #5 on the album chart.
Norther has been very active during the years and have for example been
acting and made a sound track for a movie (Finnish movie Vares 2), played in Japan and in Taiwan,
toured Europe several times and played loads of festivals, Wacken for example.
Now Norther is spreading the word with their latest release N in
the form of playing tours, festivals and club gigs. See you on the
road!
