 What can we do with LEDs and how do they work?
With LEDs we offer you endless possibilities! We can install them to the fingerboard dots and side dots or both…or just have a little bit fun with them ;)…
The side dots can be installed with a copper ring so that you can see the dots better when the LEDs are switched off. Copper rings are especially useful with LEDs on fingerboards that have black bindings or when using a Rosewood or Ebony fingerboard without bindings. The LEDs can also be hidden, for example, in fretless guitars or basses, so that you can only see them when they are switched on.

 The LEDs work by their own 9V battery, which can be installed inside the guitar’s electronic cavity. We can also use a battery box. The on/off switch can be, for example, a little toggle switch, a push/pull potentiometer, a pushbutton, or a little switch behind the guitar.
As a standard option, we offer a little toggle switch or a pushbutton switch.
LEDs are available in many different colors.
Together, we can design your own custom inlays matching the LEDs of your choice.
